In partnership with the City of Aspen and local architect Harry Teague, Aspen Historical Society offers a new walking tour to explore the Bauhaus influence on architecture and design in Aspen’s West End and Aspen Meadows campus. The tour includes one of Herbert Bayer’s former residences, as well as styles introduced by Bayer that have influenced area architects for decades, and examples of Bauhaus principles that continue to inspire design today. The tour is presented in honor of the community-wide Bauhaus 100: Aspen celebrations in 2019.
